Daily Gallipoli Tour from Istanbul

Tour Description

 

Pick-up from hotels for  The Gallipoli Day Tour starts early in the morning. A modern and comfortable bus will pick you up from your hotel. Then, you will embark on a journey from Istanbul to the Çanakkale region.

Lunch: We will reach Çanakkale at noon ,  in this reason there is  a lunch break to get the necessary needings in  Eceabat.

Brighton Beach: After lunch, visit the beautiful Brighton Beach. This bay is one of the few beaches on this peninsula that is ideal for walking. During the First World War, it was used by the allied forces in Brighton Beach to rest . In fact, it was the most preferred place by the ANZAC soldiers.

Beach Cemetery: The trip continues towards the Beach Cemetery. It is one of the most important structures in this area. Your tour guide will make everything clear to you about the history and importance of the monument.300 Australian, British and New Zealand soldiers are buried in the Beach Cemetery.

​ANZAC Cove: you will have the chance to visit this charming and beautiful little bay.These gravel cove coverings have a beautiful view due to the majestic cliffs. This bay is one of the places where the Allied forces landed in 1915.

Lone Pine and Johnston's Jolly: The other two stops will be two very important monument . They will visit Lone Pine and Johnston's Jolly cemeteries with a tour guide. The peaceful atmosphere will deeply effect you during your time here.

 Shrapnel Valley: Shrapnel Valley will be the next stop on your trip. This special area has been preserved from the most important places of the Battle of Gallipoli. Today, Shrapnel Valley is the second largest cemetery in the region.

Nek and Chunuk Bair :  You will visit the points where the allied forces starts their attacks in August 1915.

Return: After the guided tour in Gallipoli, you will enjoy the return journey to Istanbul.  This informative and interesting tour will end during the night and you will arrive in Istanbul and drop back to your hotel.
